Catch Studio is proud to showcase our comprehensive tenant improvement and commercial interior design project for Garlic Crush. Transforming an empty commercial shell into a bustling, fully operational dining space requires a delicate balance of robust construction, technical infrastructure, and striking aesthetic design.
For this initial build-out, our team managed every phase of the project to successfully establish the space for A-2 Restaurant Use, ensuring strict compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and the unique functional needs of a high-volume Mediterranean grill.
The dining room is anchored by a dimensional heritage wall map of Washington State, where raised CNC typography—highlighting milestones interacts with ambient lighting to create striking shadow play against the textured walls. This bespoke craftsmanship continues at the main ordering counter, which features an intricately routed, backlit garlic bulb emblem flanked by raised “Garlic Crush” lettering. By seamlessly integrating these illuminated, 3D architectural details, the design elevates the space into a cohesive, premium environment that deeply reinforces the restaurant’s identity and regional roots.
To create a seamless experience for both staff and patrons, this highly technical build-out successfully established safe, high-capacity occupancy from the ground up. The project integrated a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen supported by a completely new, heavy-duty plumbing and gas infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
