A newly designed detached accessory structure that combines elegance, functionality, and structural integrity. This 20-foot by 26-foot, two-story building is crafted to seamlessly integrate into its environment while providing versatile living spaces.
On the first floor, the design features an open-plan layout that includes a comfortable living area, a dining space perfect for entertaining, and a conveniently located powder room. A thoughtful inclusion under the stairs is a compact area for a washer and dryer, optimizing space without compromising on convenience.
Ascending to the second floor, you’ll find two well-appointed bedrooms, each designed to offer privacy and relaxation. A shared bathroom serves these bedrooms, providing a balance of accessibility and comfort.
Our design approach ensures that every detail contributes to the structure’s durability and aesthetic appeal. The use of high-quality wood connector hardware guarantees strong and secure connections throughout.
Additionally, the building’s lateral system is engineered with conventional plywood-sheathed shear walls and includes strategically placed strapping in the upper-level diaphragm to enhance structural stability.
