Maxwella was designed to be an easy informal place to grab a bite to eat or have a drink after work. Fresh green tones, clean white countertops and dark wood tones combined with direct and indirect lighting give the space a modern and comfortable feel. The countertop pastry display and plenty of greenery add to the ambience.

The owner also opened a restaurant directly next door. The two are connected through a shared private room that can also be used as a children’s area so that parents can linger over coffee and conversation. The pair of separate, yet connected restaurants presented unique challenges for code solutions.

This restaurant has since been sold, and we were hired to redesign it to the new restaurant’s branding and methods. Click here to see Shaburina.
