Our client had to move their successful restaurant from a location they had been at for many years. They wanted a design that would feel familiar to their loyal customers, but they also wanted to kick it up a notch, with a more luxurious atmosphere.
The original location had Thai letters as part of the design, for the new location we put these front and center. We selected King Rama IX’s most famous poem about Thai food, we rearranged these letters on a CNC copper panel to create a dynamic effect.
Backlit stained glass panels added luxury and vibrancy. The color palette was inspired by the vibrant colors of Thai cuisine: orange from Panang, red and green from papaya salad, and yellow from Kao Soi. Other design elements, wood, patterned tiles and gold reflect traditional Thai architecture.
