This is a restaurant designed in the tradition of dark and solid steakhouses, but with an Asian aesthetic.
We contrasted the dark wood, gray and black color palette with patterned tile in black and white, blond wood, and gold trim to make the space lively. The custom marble tables that surround the individual chef cooking stations provide texture and elegance to the space. The dark red upholstery adds a pop of muted color.
The owner wanted this design to feel warm and colorful like the Saigon she grew up in. We were inspired by the pastel colors and many textures of the city.
Concrete walls and bare wood beam ceilings give the space an industrial texture, while clean lines and pops of orange keep it bright and cheery.
