We were hired to develop a complete restaurant branding design package for this Asian influenced sushi and seafood buffet.
Haiku Naming:
After research and brand development we came up with the name Haiku:
- Haiku is a Japanese word that is familiar to westerners.
- Sushi is a kind of poetry, like a haiku, a specific form with few ingredients carefully chosen and arranged.
Haiku Logo
The logotype uses Asian inspired letter forms and the symbol is a play on Japanese letter forms and calligraphy using seafood and sushi symbols.
Haiku Sign
Channel letters with halo light for the main front sign.
