This 1980’s beachfront house was really showing its age with dated 80’s style architecture. Our mission was to transform it into a contemporary, open layout. We removed walls to create an open floor plan between dining and living areas.
We changed the closed in staircases by using a floating tread design, this opened up the house on every floor.
We took inspiration from the Puget Sound and used natural materials such
as stone and wood. The light, neutral color pallet is punctuated by
bursts of color, mostly by the use of pillows, throws, and artwork.
