Tam Noodle Box logo is a simple 3-D rendition of a take-out box using letterforms and simple graphic shapes. The service idea for this restaurant is to provide all orders in togo boxes which are then unfolded to create a plate. The restaurant branding design is centered around the logo.
The logo was designed to work well in a detailed color scheme and in simple black and white. We created two stickers for Tam’s togo box packaging, one is a full color version of the logo, the other an illustration of how to open up your togo box. These same graphics were also used on the restaurant’s T-shirt.
We created symbols for each type of noodle the restaurant has to offer and design a menu around them.
The design was then drawn onto a chalkboard background by a chalk artist.
Tam’s exterior sign is literally a giant, internally lit, togo box projecting off the side of the building.
