Turning a huge space inside Westlake Center Mall in the heart of Downtown Seattle is very challenging. With the amount of works and many details, we managed the whole project from permitting, designs, fabrication to constructions from ground zero to reutilize the space that used to be old P.F. Chang’s fine dining restaurant and turn it into a street food hall.

We replicate the actual busy street food carts scenes from Southeast Asian markets including street markings and signs. Different vendors showcasing their specialty Asean street staples with each cart’s concepts in place, we were able to prefabricate the food carts and indoor signage for each of the vendors.

The vibrant market vibe calls for colorful atmosphere. We hang the ceiling centerpiece with colorful plastic crates commonly used by market vendors to transport goods. Then using the actual vinyl table cloth with colorful pattern to complement the colors even more.

With the space being large and comes with a mezzanine level, we need wayfaring signage that also blend the space shifting well with the rest of the design while it playfully directs the customers to desserts and drinks area.
